Earlier this month, MCG Youth & Arts began an exciting new daytime program. In partnership with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, we are now providing students from Holy Family Institute with a twice-weekly art experience. The Supplemental Education Program (SEP) is designed to instill the students with a sense of accomplishment, and to encourage creativity and communication skills.

Documentary and Divergence features concurrent solo exhibitions by Phil Borges and LaToya Ruby Frazier. The exhibition will run from Friday, October 15, 2010 – March 11, 2011.

The Pennsylvania FY09-10 budget process is in full swing and state funding for arts and culture is in real jeopardy. The PA state budget issue will have implications on all of our organizations, not only in the coming year, but for the next 3-4 years.
