Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced potter, you’ll have a great time at MCG. Although we tend to gravitate towards wheel throwing and functional pottery, you are welcome to create hand-built ornamental and sculptural work, as well. Works made in this class will be high-fired in our gas kiln so they’ll look great and also be microwave and dishwasher safe.

Get introduced (or reintroduced) to the world of photography. In this class you’ll create images on metal (tintype) as well as on glass (ambrotype). Create digital transparencies and 35 mm prints in our fully-equipped darkroom, and learn digital workflow using Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, and Photoshop. You’ll become better acquainted with your own camera, and walk away with gallery-quality prints.
